NHS Professionals appoints New CEO

NHS Professionals has appointed Nick Kirkbride as its new chief executive officer, replacing the outgoing CEO Stephen Dangerfield, who has held the post since 2011. Nick joined NHS Professionals at the end of March and will spend a month working closely with Stephen before his formal start date of 25th April 2016.

 

Nick brings a broad range of experience to NHS Professionals, with 30 years of experience split between strategy consulting and leading businesses. He has a degree in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford and after a number of years in industry commenced a career in consulting at McKinsey & Company. Most recently he was a partner at Eden McCallum for eight years, supporting clients across a range of industries in both the public and private sectors including retail, software and pharmaceuticals.

 

Previously, Nick held posts as managing director and senior vice president at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company (NYSE: SMG) and CEO of Nelsons; he also has experience of starting new businesses and managing a joint-venture as part of the Virgin Group.
