Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading NHS provider of mental health, well-being and drug and alcohol services across Surrey and northeast Hampshire. It is also the main provider of learning and neurodevelopmental disability services.

The Trust supports people of all ages, delivering high-quality care across 97 services, all of which are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Individual treatment and support, which helps people work towards recovery, is at the heart of everything the Trust do.

To achieve this, the Trust employ 2,926 whole-time equivalent staff serving a population of more than 1.4 million. Surrey and Borders Partnership services are provided in community settings, hospitals, and residential homes with an emphasis on providing local treatment and support close to people's homes wherever possible. Across the services more than 63,000 different individuals are seen each year which equates to 456,359 appointments.

At Farnham Road Hospital there is a small carpark offering free parking: please note spaces are limited. The closest public car park is the station car park, which is about 3 minutes’ walk to the hospital.

Trust ID Access Card

Trust ID access cards are not required for Bank Members. However, Bank Members MUST have their NHSP ID card before working shifts. 

Once your application and onboarding are complete, wait for your NHS Professionals ID badge to arrive in the post. Bank exclusive or Bank only members: please do not book a shift at SaBP until you have received your NSHP ID card. Substantive staff do not require an NHSP ID card and will use their Trust ID card.

System access

Should your role require you to have systems access please contact your Ward Manager who will provide you with Smart card application details.

VRT Training

All Bank Members who work with 24/7 inpatient or residential services will need to have successfully completed Surrey & Borders VRT or a refresher Course. To be booked onto a full course or refresher please contact VRT@SABP.NHS.UK.

Please note VRT training is only for registered Surrey and Borders Bank Members, who are currently working or intend to work shifts in 24/7 inpatient or residential services. You may be asked to confirm your eligibility prior to being enrolled on a course.
