Pride Month 2024

This month, we celebrated Pride 2024! Pride Month is celebrated in June to commemorate the Stonewall riots that took place on the 28th June 1969. The 30-day annual celebration gives us the opportunity to show how far LGBTQ+ rights have come.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a response to our survey. Katherine Norris, Staff Nurse at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust shares what Pride Month means to her: 

“Pride is an opportunity to celebrate who you are as an individual incorporating inclusivity and diversity. Pride events are all inclusive of our diverse society that we are a part of today.”
