Charity Fire Walk at Barnsley Hospital

Daniel Mitchell, an NHSP Trust Recruitment Coordinator at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust did a charity fire walk to raise money for the Make a Memory Appeal.

The money he raised will go directly towards transforming the elderly ward at Barnsley Hospital by creating a homely, calm, and relaxing environment which supports all patients, particularly those with dementia.

After building a relationship with the ward manager of the charity team through supporting with recruitment needs, Daniel got an insight of all the work they do and felt inspired to get involved.
