Top tips for shift bookings
To support you booking shifts over the next few months we wanted to share some top tips for shift booking success.
Locations often release last minute shifts due to on the day sickness and absence from substantive members of staff. If there is a particular day you would like to work keep an eye out on My:Bank and ensure your availability is up to date so you can view all available shifts.
You may at times see an early and late shift you would like to work, but the start and end times overlap meaning you cannot book this through My:Bank. Please give us a call to help you!
Read any notes attached to a vacant shift before booking. Notes often contain important details about the shift or location, it is important you read these before committing to the shift.
If you are unsure about individual Trust dress codes or policies you can often find details on our Help and Support hub, just type in the relevant Trust’s name.
As we approach winter, we are aware that there is the potential for adverse weather conditions to impact your journey to work, if this happens, please inform the location you are booked at or the National Service Centre.
